The Clinch County Board of Education met on March 4, 2010
and discussed and acted on the following items:
- Recognized Young Georgia Authors winners for 2009-2010
school year
- Approved agenda for March 4, 2010 regular board meeting
- Approved minutes of February 4, 2010 regular board
meeting, February 23, 2010 Veteran Board Training at RESA and February 24,
2010 called board meeting
- Approved January 2010 financial report
- Reviewed fuel bids for February 2010
- Approved non-school uses of school facilities: Griffin
family reunion; Homerville High and Elementary School reunion; birthday party
- Approved sports schedule for track
- Approved personal leave for system personnel
- Tabled board policies - GBRIG (Federal Family and
Medical Leave Act) and IDE(3) (Competitive Interscholastic Activities, Grades
6-12)
