The Clinch County Board of Education met on March 4, 2010 and discussed and acted on the following items:

Recognized Young Georgia Authors winners for 2009-2010 school year
Approved agenda for March 4, 2010 regular board meeting
Approved minutes of February 4, 2010 regular board meeting, February 23, 2010 Veteran Board Training at RESA and February 24, 2010 called board meeting
Approved January 2010 financial report
Reviewed fuel bids for February 2010
Approved non-school uses of school facilities: Griffin family reunion; Homerville High and Elementary School reunion; birthday party
Approved sports schedule for track
Approved personal leave for system personnel
Tabled board policies - GBRIG (Federal Family and Medical Leave Act) and IDE(3) (Competitive Interscholastic Activities, Grades 6-12)
Approved SPLOST bids (lowest bid on each):

ü Replace door locks at CCEC Bob’s Lock Shop $2,980.61

ü Resurface parking lot at CCHS Dixie Roadbuilders $110,525.00

ü Replace bus cameras at Bus Shop Angel Trax Systems $32,240.00

Elected Jo Ann Tomlinson as GSBA voting delegate for GSBA Summer Conference and Nick Booth as alternate voting delegate
